About Me

Hi, welcome to my portfolio. My name is Olamilekan Oloyede, and I am an aspiring Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) professional with a strong interest in understanding how organizations manage risk, ensure compliance, and build resilient governance structures. I am passionate about the role GRC plays in protecting businesses, systems, and stakeholders in today’s digital environment.

I am particularly interested in information security risk, regulatory compliance, and operational risk, especially within technology-driven and fintech environments. I continually expand my knowledge through research, self-driven projects, and industry learning as I work to build a strong, practical GRC skill set.

My journey into GRC has been shaped by structured learning and hands-on academic and practical exercises. I have built a solid foundation in risk management, cybersecurity fundamentals, governance principles, and compliance concepts, supported by my training and internship at AfriTechX. Through projects and case-based exercises, I have gained practical exposure to risk identification, risk registers, control mapping, and policy awareness.
